Emma Barbafiera

I'm Emma, a Registered Nurse from Christchurch. 

 

I graduated from Ara  with a Bachelor of Nursing in 2015 and have worked in various acute areas of the hospital, residential care and the Pegasus Acute Demand Service. I have a young family, so the move to general practice with a job that offers regular hours was a no brainer. 

 

I love spending time with my family over the weekends, you will often find us walking tracks along banks peninsula or checking out a new brunch spot in the area. 

 

I enjoy practice nursing as the variety of people that I meet in this role keeps the job interesting and exciting. My special interests are working with patients who have chronic conditions like heart failure and working with young children and their families.  

 

I am available on Monday, Wednesday or Fridays.
