Jana Bolton

Qualifications; Bachelor of Nursing, Bachelor of Science (Hons) 

 

My name is Jana. I’m a registered nurse from Nelson. I graduated from NMIT in 2014. 

 

During the decade I have been nursing I have worked in primary healthcare and community nursing. I started my career working in Aranui in Christchurch, then spent several years working in Kolkata, India.

 

I am passionate about health equity and women’s healthcare, and enjoy working in diverse communities. I love the variability of working in primary health care and getting to work with people across the life span.

 

I enjoy study and have completed postgraduate studies in psychology, sexual health, and advanced health assessment. My long term goal is to become a nurse practitioner.
